Complaint We booked a rental property in Marina Del Ray over a month in advance of our planned vacation in the LA area. Upon arrival at LAX, as instructed, we called International Vacation Homes. Travel to coordinate meeting someone at the property to check in. Only then were we informed that the property was overbooked and not available for our stay. We found a hotel in the area on our own while we tried to contact someone at International Vacation Homes. Travel to resolve the problem. We finally received a call back the next morning. However, 24 hours after our arrival in LA International Vacation Homes. Travel, a subsidiary of California Classic Properties, claimed that they could not find a comparable replacement property. We are out a substantial amount for the added cost of staying in a hotel for four nights and International Vacation Homes. Travel at this point has refused to compensate us for the hassle and additional costs we have had to incur. Phone calls and repeated messages were not returned promptly. And the company's response has been they is little they can do and they're not in a position to reimburse us for the added cost of nearly $1,500 they caused.
