We three families were total 9 people and we were three couples and 3 children rented this cottage in August 2011. Before arriving I had a contract with this woman and I paid her for sleeping up to 10 people for staying three nights.
The cabin property and services are misrepresented on the web site. On the web site it states “the cabin has the 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath and sleeps six comfortably with 3 queen size beds and a sofa sleeper”. It turned out all three beds were in an open area of a loft and there was not even a single bedroom and no privacy at all; ‘Convertible bed(s)” was the only one sofa sleeper and it was very old with a hole on it. Our children had to sleep on dirty unfinished floor.
On our arriving she did not clean the cabin and it was filthy, we were overcome by the disgusting odor immediately as we opened the cabin door. It had no finished floor with a couple of very filthy rugs coved with dried grass debris. A lot of bug and spider webs were inside of cabin. The kitchen was grease and faucet was leaking badly. Bathroom was the worst place, tiny dirty and smelling. All the towels were shabby, worn out and rough like rags. Nobody wanted to use the bath room. It was to take us hours to clean the place so we could sleep, cook and use the bath room. This place looks nothing like the photos. It is a dumpster!
Owner was deceitful, dishonest, and unprofessional. I tried to contact her and asked her if she was the owner. She lied to us. First she said she only managed the property and then she said she was the owner.
I wish I take pictures of this cabin so I can go to court to sue her! |
