I found an ad on Craigslist.org for a condo rental in Sunny Isles, FLA. The woman posted photos online, a picture of the building -
all turned out to be a FRAUD/LIAR/THIEF!!!
I arrived in Miami with three children under the age of 4. I rented a minivan and went to see the apt. The woman called me four times on my cell phone asking
when i will be arriving as she has to go to the doctor. I rushed to meet her and she took me in to see the apt. I stood in the living room, on the ground level and
was not happy with what i saw. The woman pressured me to pay her the $500 weekly rental and/or she will give it to someone else. I was tired, exhausted from the
flight and managing three toddlers and gave her cash money. She gave me a key and i tested it in her presence; turned out to be the wrong key. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THEN but I
am trusting and was tired. The apt turned out to be a filthy apt, with all broken appliances, ants in the bathroom, filthy old towels. I called the woman at 10 PM and told her I want my
money back --- and intend to leave in the morning. She came with Clorox and started cleaning the floors. The A/C was broken - the place was old, dilapidated and nothing like she
advertised.
I packed up and called her to tell her that I want my money back.
I left the apt spotless and went upstairs to speak with her. She never answered her door. I went to the condo association and complained about her and told them how she SCAMMED ME FOR $500 -
they said she is not allowed to rent her apt without their knowledge and also stated that she is crazy. I was so upset that I was taken by this disgusting German thief.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL - DO NOT GET CONNED LIKE I DID
