After our vacation was over, we left the house clean and with all itme intact.
Hoever we got a call from the broker next day that one of the TVs was missing. We told the owners and the broker emphatically that we had not stolen the TV. We said that the TV was stolen after we checked out of the house and hence we were not responsible for making good of the TV.
However the owner is simply content of forfeiting our deposit. We asked them to file a police complaint for the theft and let the police investigate. They are not wiling to do even that. The owners tell us they dont have to give us any proof that we took the TV but will still go ahead and keep our deposit.
The brokers are not willing to help us either.
We have now filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania District attorney.
Stay away from Pocono Resorts Realty and owners Juan and Nhora Fernandez. Both have cheated us of our money.
We went for a quiet vacation during a Memorial Day weekend but ended up with a headache |
