In the site offering the Apollo 2503 property http://www.vrconnection.com/Apollo2503?&l=1 one can see the following amenities:
Washer, Linens Provided, Garage, Covered Parking, Elevator, Queen Bed, Double Bed, Twin/Single Bed, Bunk Bed, Convertible Bed, Cable/Satellite TV, DVD, CD Player, Stereo System, Shared Hot Tub, Shared Pool, Full Kitchen, Cooking Utensils Provided, Refrigerator, Microwave, Ice Maker, Catering Available, Oceanfront, Broadband Internet, WiFi (Wireless Internet), Handicapped Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Kid Friendly, Smoking Not Allowed.
When we arrived, we found out that:
1. the garage has been rented to someone else. Thanks to the apartment administrator's(absolutely independent of the LaMar Bunt or his representative) mercy to have another parking place.
2. the kitchen stove had no gas and we could not cook for 1/10 rental days.
3. there were dirty linens, shoes and t-shirts left in the apartment, even if we had already paid USD 30 to receive a cleaned apartment.
4. there was no hot water in one of the two showers,
5. there was no WiFi connected for 8/10 days of our stay
6. what is offered as "Shared Hot Tub, Shared Pool" are amenities from a hotel next door for which anyone can have access to by paying 25 reais per person per day and that are not included in the apartment amenities. Besides, LaMar Bunts emailed me that we could use the toilet/shower close to the pool as a third shower/toilet. Again, to have access to that one had to pay a daily fee and there was no close shower, just an open shower with cold water in the middle of the peer. The internet offer of the apartment shows the picture of a swimming pool that is in another building and which would have costed us 44% of the stay to have acess to.
7. the coffee machine and one ventilator were broken.
We asked the local representative to appear and she never did.
Besides, we never got a receipt for the payment. |
