| Complaint |
I belong to a vacation exchange company, Interval International in Miami, Florida. Our membership number is 2233280. On November 24, 2007 I recieved a call from Interval informing me that our membership expired. If I did not renew right now, I would lose the one week vacation time that I had with Interval. (They call it a Banked Week). The phone solicitor was not friendly. I told him i did not believe him, that my membership still had several years left. He told me NO. And if he hung up, I would lose my week. So I agreed to charge my Visa Card $138. That amount was posted on my card on November 27, 2007. On November 28th, I found my Interval Membership card and my renewal date is 08/22/2009. I had paid a five year plan in 2004. So I called Interval Membership and told them I was very very unhappy and upset with the phone tactics their caller used. They looked at my account and agreed that my membership had not expired. I told them I wanted the charges reversed and was told that would happen. Around December 20th I checked my Visa account again, and the charge was still there. I called Interval again. The customer representative explained it takes 30 days to reverse a charge. I told him I wanted it credited NOW. And I warned that if they did not, I would contact our state AG.
I checked my account today and the charge is still posted from 11/27/07. They are deceptive and not honest at all. I left a message with a custmer service manager to call me and no one has ever caled. |
