Subject: Imperial Beach, CA Condo Renters Beware!!
Comment: There is a rental property owner, currently advertising on condo rental websites such as VacationRentals411, Goin2Travel, and ValueVacationRentals, who is conducting business in a dishonest manner. Her name is Kayli Davidson and her rental property is located at 1508 Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach, CA. I am overseas in the Middle East and only had a 2 week shot at a vacation from 17 months being deployed in the Middle East. She stated to me at the last minute she needed the money or else she was going to give it to someone else and it was buisness, which was opposite of what was understood because of my location and when I was threatened this it was at the point where I would not be able to find abother rental at the time. It took me to catch her at a concert to finally give me the code for the key to the Condo. When I rented it wasn't too bad, there were broken items which I made sure she was aware of after constant calls she finally answered. I also fouind out she stoled copywrite pictures to advertise her place, she was renting the place illegally and had people herrass me about parking, and why I was there, and she had a maint. person who never answered their phone. When I went back to the Middle East it has taken 6 months for my deposit to return which I have not received yet. As she stated it is buisness and she is not behaving properly as a buisness person, she seems to consistantly get away with her lack of responsibilities.

Subject: Imperial Beach, CA Condo Renters Beware
Comment: We rented this condo for week of 08/23/08-08/30/08 from Kayli Davidson. The condo is at 1508 Seacoast drive in Imperial Beach.We paid deposit $500.00 on 3/08/08 and $2000.00 on 07/02/08. I called her 7/23/08 and told her my mother is dying whom is the one who rented this condo and paid her. She said no problem she will re-rent it and send our money back. NEVER did! My mom past 07/30/08 and we are taking her to court 11/12/09. She will take your money and run. It took 4 months to get our deposit back also in 2007 and 2006 from her after we hounded her to send it to us.

Subject: Final Payment Received
Comment: A copy of this complaint was sent to Ms. Davidson before it was posted by VRWD.org. Later that day, I FINALLY received a check for the final $100. I am thankful forthe payment, but I'm still scratching my head why it took 4 months. I must have asked Ms. Davidson 10 times for the final $100 (which I shouldn't have to do in the first place), but she would never send it, nor would she tell me her reasons for not doing so. Go figure!
