This person who I found on vacationrentals.com tried to rent us and accepted a deposit from us (via paypal) for a property she did not own. Only when the Venice FL police became involved and ready to charge her with theft/fraud did she return our funds. vacation rentals removed her from their site. now she is back on that site on a different property and they won't remove her as it is "another address".
this woman threatened us, verbally abused us, and also the real owner of the property (whose pictures she used).
so my compaint is two fold.... one against Kim Hardesty and the other is the website.... www.vacationrentals.com - why are they not protecting propective renters! when they know this problem. |
