we walked in the door and was so overwhelmed. every room was very filthy. laundry piled up so high, refrig. was disgusting, garbage disposal really stunk, nothing worked, garbage was piled so high you couldn't even get any more in the garbage, then we looked over her fence and more garbage, hot tub we didn't even dare to use as it had so much algae and etc around the tub. everything was broken, furniture, stove, we went down to get married and not to clean day and night until 4:00 in the morning and not planning on spending the extra money for cleaning supplies, towels and so forth.. we will probably never get our money back as we went spent over 1300.00 and we really had to save for our wedding and vacation.. do not rent from this woman. she also has a house rental called thor and one in depoe bay. very disgusting, and very sad. |

Subject: Elina Niemela rental property in Depoe Bay, OR
Comment: This is a warning thsat should be heeded. Do not come to this property to rent, and above all do not send her any front money. This place is filthy, infested with black mold, no fire detectors, and one tenant here is a sociopathic narcissist, who is dangerous. Please learn from the mistakes of so many others and have nothing to do with this woman or any of her properties.

Comment: We also rented this home. It is nothing like the photos. The doors have been kicked in and don't close properly. Furniture is garage sale quality, broken, and filthy. Entire home is unkept, broken fixtures, no appliances work, stained, and smells horrible. The owner is unprofessional. Please report your experience to Better Business Bureau and contact me.

Comment: We are one of several families that have rented this home in the last couple of months. The pictures are misleading. The home is a disaster with filthy, damaged walls, doors, carpet, and furniture. It is furnished with old, stained, garage sale mismatched furniture. The appliances are unkept and not functional. The hot tub is fithy. The home is filled with the stench of animal urine. The owner, Elina Niemela, is irrational and unprofessional. She will lie to you directly, avoid your calls, and refuse to return any of your money. I don't expect a refund at this point but will make it my mission to stop this woman from swindeling others. Please contact me, complain to BBB, and help stop her.
