Here is an email I sent to VacationHomes.com today. I found multiple fake listings while looking for less than 10 minutes today. I called VacationHomes.com, but we directed to a voicemail each time. This site is absolutely bogus. Do not rent a home on there.
I am with Five Star Beach Properties in Destin, Florida. We received a concern from a guest who saw a 'cloned property' on your website at a 1/5 of the price. Someone has stolen our property information and photos and created a listing here:

We tried calling both numbers listed and did not get a person. Please remove this listing. I do not know if there are any other of our properties that have been copied, but you probably should remove. I am forwarding all of this information to www.vrwd.org. If you guys can't control your website I am going to let everyone know not to use it. I am also sending this to the BBB. |

Subject: Total Fraud on rentals
Comment: I rented an apartment and lost 1550 the apartment did not exist,vacationrental has 10 different properties advertising that do not exist, I found it in few minutes, this agency should not be allowed to do any business in the United States or anywhere. They should be liable for a group law suit. I am hiring a lawyer
