Complaint	Beware of this rental home vacation website!Owner sends you email with lowest rate possible while keeping in line with similar rates. Sends u a correct MONEY invoice but what you may not notice is that the check in date/time is wrong or , or writes the wrong amt of people renting (even though its rent for the home not per person, he gets u in the end) then upon arrival to the home, he wont let you in unless you give him CASH because "you have wrong amt of people with you." He did that to us. He knew there were 8 people in my party and he rented us a home that slept 10. When we got to the house, he said "no no no, you have too many people, you give me more $$ and I give you home. (the guy barely speaks english thats why I wrote it as he was speaking to me) So we paid him extra money in cash because we were traveling with 3 children and 2 elderly parents. I was balling my eyes out in the driveway. Plus he misrepresents the square footage of his home. He told me it was 2500 sq feet when it was really only 1500 sq ft. He never had anyone come clean the pool or cut the grass in all of the 10 days we were there. He promised us a 300 minute calling card to use with the phone, we never got it. He charged us for internet service, but we had to tap into someones unsecured network so my husband could work on his laptop, he charged us for a BBQ that was rusted out and not usable at all!!! To top it off, the table that we should have been able to use for our dinners was on its last leg!! The entire table tipped when we tried to sit to eat dinner the first nite we were there. So we ended up having to eat around the 4 person table on the lanei and the kids had to sit on the floor picnic style to eat their dinners. I documented everything, took pictures and videos. When we left on july 4th I sent an email letting him know we cleaned the home, he sent me back in emal the next day saying it was in perfect condition and I will have my security deposit back within 7 days. Needless to say....I am still waiting. He wont answer emails and he wont answer the phone anymIore. The Oceola BBB has been notified and so has Rentalo.com which is where he saw my posting. He has 4 homes that he owns/rents. DONT RENT FROM HIM....... Plus not to scare you but the owner who is the one that you rent from, he would come at nite (it happened times) and not even let you know he was there. We would hear this rustling sound outside becuase we would be sitting out in the pool area and he would be sneaking into the garage to get something. The first time it happened we ran out to the front and we saw him leaving!!!! BTW--he ended up locking the spa timer so we couldnt use the spa tub anymore!!! even though we paid for it!!!!

Subject: SUNSET FUN VILLAS IS HORRIBLE
Comment: I am very dissapointed also with Sunset Fun Villas. I definitely did not get what I expected at all. Let's see where should I start.. I paid 1600.00 for two weeks. I was under the impression that the pool was solar heated, and the jacuzzi was working. Those were two important requirments we had with choosing a vacation home, and he promised us that they were both available and funtioning. When we arrived, the pool was freezing, filthy, and the jacuzzi looked like it had been sitting unused for months. He assured me the pool and jacuzzi would be taken care of the next day. He could not provide me with the security lock code because he had "forgotten" it, and he told me he would give it to me when he got back to his office over the phone. He told me just to lock the door knob lock until then. We left to go get groceries, came back and the security lock was locked! He did not answer his phone all day and night, and we had to go spend our first night in a hotel. The next day he finally answered, and gave me the lock code. Back to the pool and jacuzzi, he said the pool was solar heated and there was no control over the temp. LIE - A week into our vacation I found the temp control on the side of the house set all the way to the loewst temp.. Thanks alot. The jacuzzi was broken, that's why no one ever came to "clean it out and turn it on" like we were told. The pool looked like pond water, it was green and filthy, the filter did not work properly. The washing machine was broken, one bathroom was out of order, the toilet and shower did not function properly. We sent him a $300.00 security deposit through PayPal when we booked the house. He told me we would recieve that back in cash the day we checked out after he inspected the house. The day we checked out he said he was out of town and would refund it through Pay Pal. The day Pay Pal was supposed to clear the refund, he put a stop payment on it! I called him and asked him what was going on, and he said he didn't know why, and he would take care of it. It's not looking to promising seeing the articles I just read above.. Next time we vacation, I will not be renting from him that's for sure! (Syd/Roya) just sent me an e-mail with all these rediculous accusations that are untrue, and he's asking us to pay him $275.00 more than the security deposit! He is saying we stole bedsheets that costed him $135.00 each.. HE HAD SHEETS FROM WAL-MART!! And we did not take anything from that house. We left cleaning supplies, garbage bags, laundry soap and dryer sheets there! He is saying we disposed charcoal in the toilet, and it was clogged. The toilet and shower in one of the bathrooms didn't even work when we got there! He is saying we paid him less money for the security deposit than we did. Even though I have it on record how much we paid, so that is a stupid move on his part. The funny thing is, I have e-mails from him saying that the property was left in perfect condition, and the "cleaning crew" he has clean his properties said the property was emmaculate, and he offered us three free days the next time we went to Florida! I have pictures with the date on them of the property on the date we checked out, so he can not even dare say he's being truthful about anything he wrote to me. Unbelievable. This guy is a scammer big time. I urge anyone who is reading this to NOT rent from him if you know what is good for you. I can't believe how dishonest and untrustworthy he is. I am so disgusted and dissapointed. This guy needs to be stopped! People don't deserve to be treated this way especially when your on vacation paying top dollar for a house that isn't worth it.
