Our mini break in the spring of 2011 turned into a disappointing mess. We searched the internet for weeks before deciding on a beautiful vacation home in Lincoln City. We made the arrangements and headed to the coast over spring break. However, upon arrival we found garbage strewn all over the driveway. The front door appeared to have been jimmied at some previous time. And the front lock did not work properly.
Then there was the condition of the home: Filth. Grime. Broken glass. Broken furniture. Broken appliances. We feared for the safety of our children.
After being sternly reminded that there were absolutely NO REFUNDS. We headed to the store and bought cleaning supplies, as well as basic necessities such as towels and inside shoes so no one had to go barefoot. We spent the next four hours cleaning the home. And periodically over the next few days, considerably more time cleaning areas that we felt we needed to use. |

All the same property. The owner changed the name again in an attempt to evade the bloggers and past renters' reviews.
We stayed here summer of 2011 and just like the rest of the people said, it was disgusting. We would not walk around without shoes, put linens over all the couches (that worked), and spent probably $350 over the few days we were there for cleaning supplies and basic kitchen tools. It looked like a huge series of frat parties went on there. The stove and kitchen were in such poor repair that we ended up eating our last few meals out. Totally blew our budget just to get the basic necessities.
Contacted the owner and she was very adamant about no refunds and really did not care one bit about our complaints. . . . which is obvious by all the posts after our stay where the conditions of the house had further deteriorated.. We contacted Lincoln City and they were no help but were very familiar with the owner and the property. Because it is outside the city limits they are powerless to do anything.
The BBB has numerous complaints about it but the owner will not return their calls to investigate so it goes down as no response.
BEWARE THIS UNCLEAN PROPERTY!!!
