Brian Harp, rented my family a house in Wiscasset Maine. He has several listings. We rented the third week in August 2008 and having been trying to get back our $300 security deposit ever since.
First of all, the property ran out of oil on Thursday of our stay (sunday to sunday). This meant we did not have hot showers for the remainder of the stay. Thinking he would be concerned, we tried repeatedly to contact him. His emergency phone number was never answered.
Finally he has not returned our deposit. We left the house just as we found it, if not even cleaner, and spent much of our stay without showers. We actually thought he would want to give us an extra refund on our rental since we were so uncomfortable during the stay, but we never expected that he would simply not respond to our calls or refund our deposit. |
