We rented a villa from http://www.tropicalhomesofcostarica.com over the holidays. Even though we were warned about the bed sheet scam that http://www.tropicalhomesofcostarica.com pulls we decided to take a chance. We made a mistake. During the last day of our stay they came to us saying we spilt wine on the bed sheets even though no food or drink was ever in the room. They went on to say that the sheets were $150 and even though they were a year old they were still going to charge us the full amount. I looked in the closets and found many other bed sheets and pillows that were never used by us with red spots on them. As of today they charged us double ($300) and it doesn't look like we will see a penny back. STAY AWAY FROM TROPICALHOMESOFCOSTARICA.COM AS THEY WILL SCAM YOU LIKE THEY SCAMMED US AND NUMEROUS PEOPLE BEFORE US! |
