This is only one more intermediary advertising on owners websites, and including in the contract, introducing himself as the owner.
The house was in good order, very well decorated and equiped by the real owner, but obviously never visited by this person who did not make any effort to prepare it in accordance with our conversations (installing the child protection fence around the pool).
Extremely arrogant reaction when we pointed out the small things that needed fixing (missing bulbs, no handsoap in any bathroom, broken toilet paper dispenser, pool was not heated, etc). Quite surprising for a $ 4,000 weekly rental price.
More worrying, almost two months after the rental, it has been impossible to recover our security deposit.
This person seemed extremely anxious to have lenghty contracts signed, a lot less so to return our deposit though the house was left -as agreed over the phone- in mint condition. Some vague emails about check being cut on thursdays, yet 7 thursdays later no check made it to New York City. |

An arrogant lier.
Stole my security deposit: bounced the refund check then lied for another 2 months about resending my money back.
He is a fraudulant criminal.
