This group is an agency that purports to rent villas, in this case in Scottsdale, we had sent several emails looking for vacation rental. American Specialties offered a special rate, the web site reassures the customer, there is a telephone number. It looks legal....last week spoke with this group several times, yes, it was available, no it wasn't available have to contact the owner, called back and yes it is available at that rate, so made the deposit. They email back saying that it is not available after all and they will refund the $200.00. The next day another contact from them with another offer, please deposit $500.00, contacted our bank and emailed them telling them so, by the end of the day they had credited our account including the "foreign transaction fee." Do not use this group for anything they are slimy. |
