Air conditioning was not working. So after repeated requests the owner sent the caretaker who had to turn off the heat pump which was left on. The temperature was 80 degrees that day and inside the house it was hotter. Upon inquiring on the status of the $300 security deposit after several weeks had passed after the rental, the owner refunded only $150 and withheld $150 for having to send the caretaker to have the AC working. This was against the terms of the contract as the owner was to have provided all the necessary utilities as part of the rental. Hence the complaint.
The owner took $500 deposit and one night before said the house is no longer available. When asked for the deposit, shut down the phone and does not answer calls.
