She rented me her home for 100 dollars per day for two weeks. The house is a nest of roaches, mosquitos and millipedes . On top of it, the toilets are broken, there is no running water, nowhere to wash dishes but on the floor near uncollected trash with rotten food, dirty water in receptacles and a drum where cooking water is fetched. A filthy kitchen with rat drops is stocked in a corner of the courtyard. The "funky" thing is the fact that the refrigerator does not function. In regard to the mountain of unsanitary conditions I requested to be moved into a hygienic environment but to my surprise after apologizing for the inconvenience she refused to endorse the expense of the new place for which I paid 900 dollars. I lost a total of 2500 dollars for two weeks with my whole falling sick. The worse experience I ever had on vacation_Beware of this woman and her travel agency; she is a crook, Avoid dengue fever, typhoid fever, malaria and cholera by avoiding doing business with her.
I rented this appartment for 2 weeks last summer (2010) through HOMELIDAYS website. We arrived there and the place was so dirty....never seen anything like that! I took pictures. The fridge was green with mould, the microwave, the shower. Spider webs behind doors. The smell in the appartment was just horrible. The sheets and pillows were dirty! The ad says air conditionning, there was none. it also says the beach is 100 metres away, well, guess what...It's 20 min walk!!! I emailed the owner my complaint with pictures, and I have been ignored. I then tried to post a review on his page, and it was never posted by the website. I then e-mailed the website with my complaint and pictures, and the Homelidays website ignored me as well. His add is still on. So beware beware and beware of that scam!! this website is not serious or professional.
