We reserved a cabin with lakefront cabins in sevierville on douglas lake to be able to spend time with extended family. As a group we rented three seperate cabins. Advertised special was 245.00 per night + tax + misc undisclosed fees (tax was also undisclosed at 13.75%) Management stated that since we requested to reserve the cabin two months prior they would not honor the advertised lower rate. Clearly stating on the website that rental prices are 245.00 May thru sept. We stayed in July and should have gotten the lower rate. Dealing with this manager it was clear that she is uneducated in running a business and very poor people skills. Very dissappointed that in the end we were required to clean the rental and also drive garbage up to 4 miles away. I would not recommend this rental business the mattresses were covered in crunchy plastic, I know this because we were also required to strip the beds and put in the laundry. Not a vacation!!
