I contacted Alex Carter of property ID # 3601 listed on Petvacationhomes.com for a beautiful beach front property in Myrtle Beach, SC on Sept. 17/10. A red flag was raised immediately because of the poor phone connection and Alex Carter sounded African who could barely speak English. Then he sent a contract with no address and banking information for a full wire transfer of $2500 to a name that was different from his, likely an alias. I was disturbed as to how easy one could list a fraudulent listing on Petvacationhomes.com and that the company couldn't do a better job at preventing and verifying property owners. The integrity of this website is in question.
