We rented this home for approx 5000. When we arrived the garage door was bashed in. Trash was overflowing the containers next to the house. There were missing slats from all of the blinds in the windows in the front of the house. Inside the house was filthy. There were missing cables in the bedroom tv's. missing remotes. remotes with dead batteries. light bulbs burn out. A missing glass cover to the light on a fan in the bedroom. no clean towels. The beds were cheap twin mattresses that were on plywood platforms 2 inches from the ground. The pillows on the beds in the cases were stained. The carpet was stained in the upstairs bedrooms. The sink in the front bath would not turn off. The toilet in the boys wing was not attached to the floor due to the fact that one of the bolts was sheared off. It would not flush unless you held the lever down the entire cycle. The computer was not working in the entry way. The couch in the tiny family room was broken and sitting on the floor. The chair on the upstairs landing was broken. My mothers bedroom had no window coverings and was downstairs and next to the neighbors house. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty. They provided no kitchen towels or washclothes. The washer was broken and would not agitate. The light switch in the family room controlled the light in the boys hall which was open to one of the bedrooms. We paid for pool heat but the pool was not functioning for 3 days in a row. The gutter off the pool was missing both ends. The dry vent from the garage in the outside wall was stuffed with newspaper. This place is a dump and should not be rented. We complained and got no assistance other than an offer for towels and cleaning. This property is not as advertised!!!!We asked for refund and were refused. We asked to be relocated and were refused. We left early because we couldnt stand it anymore. Now dealing with the management company is a nightmare. They have offered us a paltry $1000 refund of which $200 was a refundable security deposit and $140 was what we paid to heat the pool which I feel should be returned.
