My family and I spent 10 days during the 2007 Christmas holiday at that location.
The window coverings in the bedrooms were all broken. The bathroom sink was clogged for quite a few days. The shower door leaked so much water that the bathroom floor was always flooded. The window coverings in the bedrooms were all broken. The bathroom sink was clogged for quite a few days. We complained to the owner who took it upon herself to fix the shower door. Of course, it didn't work. She was just too CHEAP to hire help. The patio umbrellas were broken. . The oven was so old and filthy we hesitated to use it.
The owner: Marianne Hernandez neglected purposely to do a walk-in of the property in the beginning of our stay and neglected to co-sign an inventory of all the items available for use. As required by law, she should have performed a joint punch list to determine the state of the Premises and the Inventory. Accordingly, we called her the day before vacating, left her a recorded message which remained unanswered. We called again the morning we were due to vacate, we only received verbal instructions to leave the keys under the door mat when vacating.
To add insult to injury, the owner accused us falsely of stealing kitchen appliances and scratching her furniture. She conveniently forgot what her house looked like before we moved in, which is: a JUNKYARD! So she conveniently went ahead and did not return our security deposit. Marianne Hernandez is a thief. Do not spend your next holiday at this junkyard unless you also want to be robbed!
